Founded
in 1996, moonlight productions is a non-profit intergenerational theater
started by JT Turner and Sandi Nason. The company is dedicated to mentoring
kids and teens through musical productions. We know that youth involved
in drama and music have better grades, less truancy and are less likely
to use drugs and alchohol. By putting them on stage with adult role
models, we hope to show a better path.
As they prepare to perform, these ensembles of adults working with children
find unexpected resources inside themselves. With guidance, the young
performers learn to build upon their own self-confidence, to challenge
themselves and to master their gifts. Moonlighters demonstrate respect,
timeliness, discipline and responsibility and how to give back to our
community. And we do it together, while putting on a great show!
